Fantastic replacement for outdated fixtures.

This light protrudes from the ceiling by a very small amount, making it look sleek and unobtrusive. Bye Bye boob lights. I also lights up the area very nicely. I bought several of these lights and put them all over the house and they are awesome.

Downlight, no lighting for ceiling corners

Nice low profile fixture, especially for the price. My mistake was not thinking about downlight only vs ceiling-washing side lighting. Downlight means just that. Bought this for a tiny 36”W x 28”D alcove off the kitchen where new fridge will go, part of passageway to back door. Even in this tiny space, corners are dark unless dimmer is cranked all the way up to blinding light lol Don't care for LED—had halogen before, but trying to shave energy costs. Had it installed before realizing my mistake. Will probably replace later, but that's to correct my mistake. Just make sure downlight is all you want/need.
