Cuisinart RPB100 Evolution 16 oz. Cordless Compact Blender

Excellent product. To be honest didn't have high hopes for amazing speed and quality, but very pleasantly surprised and impressed at how powerful this is!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this a couple of weeks and am really pleased with it. Firstly, it looks beautiful - neat, sleek and smart. Definitely something you can leave on display. It feels really solid and well made, with all the parts fitting together well. Functionally, it's absolutely brilliant for blending smallish quantities of liquids. I've used it for fruit smoothies, salad dressings and frappucinos, with great results. It's quick to produce a very smooth result, and I didn't find it particularly noisy. I was worried about the ice in the coffee, but it blitzed through that no problem. I was also a bit nervous about the fact that you screw the blade into the cup and then turn it upside down to attach it to the motor and blend - but there's no hint of a leak, and this clever design means that washing up is a breeze. Although I haven't taken this out with me (lockdown!), I do really like the fact that this is cordless, it makes it easier to use about the kitchen. It seems to charge quickly, and I've used it a handful of times without needing to recharge. I also really like that the the main body of it is a cup, which comes with a screw top lid, so you can fill, blend and go without having to decant into anything. It's not meant to be a food processer, so you do need to make sure you're including enough liquid (my first smoothie attempt didn't have enough juice and so it wouldn't blend properly), and it says not to blend very hot soups. I would say in any case the capacity isn't big enough for making soup (it holds about a pint). But if you want something neat, easy to use and effective to blend smoothies etc, this is perfect.
