Great option for tree lovers!

Although we love the smell and look of a real tree, there is something to be said about this lovely Douglas Fir Pre-lit artificial tree... PROS: 1) You're not killing a tree year after year. (Admit it, garbage day after Christmas is kind of sad with all those tree carcasses lining the curb.) 2) This tree has excellent, delicate detail in its branches and needles. (It has pretty much fooled everybody.) 3) It's lightweight (compared to our previous artificial tree, which weighed a ton.) 4) It's very easy to assemble/easy to store. 5) The lights are numerous, well placed and are pleasantly warm in color. 6) Excellent price (We paid more than double for our previous clunker.) 7) Hayneedle.com has super speedy delivery! CONS: 1) Our tree branches are not as full as the product photo and the trunk is visible. Perhaps we simply did not spend sufficient time fluffing the branches. It doesn't bother us, though. SUMMARY: Overall, a great purchase. We're happy.

Good looking tree!

So many different online stores selling artificial trees, so it's tough. This is the first I've ever bought, but my family used many growing up. I knew I liked the Fir look of fake trees, and this one doesn't disappoint. My wife was opposed to a fake tree, and was convinced she wouldn't like this one, but has been pleasantly surprised. The lights look great, all working with no issues. I'm used to setting up the old fashion fake trees that take 2 hours to do... this comes in 3 pieces, and took 30 min with my wife (most time was spent just spreading the branches out). All in all, i'm pretty happy with my purchase. We'll see how it holds up in the offseason!Reasons I chose this one: I've used hayneedle before and I like their setup. [...] Competitive price. Came with 20 off and free storage bag with the 2 promo codes I found. Cons... the tree stand itself is kind of pathetic but it gets the job done. Its not huge... definitely go with the 7.5 foot tree... its a normal size tree (atleast what I would consider normal). I'm guessing the 6 foot or 6.5 foot would look too small.

Very realistic tree at a GREAT price!

This is a very realistic looking tree, even up close it is difficult to see that it is artificial. We have had ""real"" trees for 30 years now and this is our first artificial tree. This one was an excellent choice for us.
