Assembly Challenges, but Worth the Effort
Overall, we are very pleased with these beds. We ordered 2 for our boys room. Chief complaints: the legs that attach to the headboard must face a certain direction, which isnt labeled or specified in the instructions. (One side has an angle-cut into the wood so the hooks on the long boards can slide in.) Otherwise, the long boards wont attach. Also, the holes are drilled too large into which the barrel nuts fit on both the headboard and footboard, making it very challenging to line up the bolt with the barrel nut (because it either goes too deep into the hole or shifts up or down. We had to use a magnetic screwdriver to help hold the nut in place, and tilt the headboard and footboard at varying angles to line up the bolt with the nut. It was a challenging 2-person job, simply because of the poorly-drilled holes. Also, the headboard and footboard have a definite front and back, which arent labeled, so pay attention to which way they face before assembling. Our sets came with 6 cross bars each, which we drilled into place, though Ive read many other reviews that the beds only came with 3 cross bars, so that may have been a shipping mistake to our benefit. The beds can be assembled low if you have a mattress and box spring set, or set high if you only have a mattress. We have only mattresses and purchased smooth plywood to serve as a bunkie board. Last note: this review box wont allow me to use an apostrophe; sorry for the missing punctuation.

Nice Bed
Met all my expectations. Assembly was easy. Though there was one manufacturing defect that prevented the side rails from connecting to head and foot boards. Increasing the length of the slot solved the problem. Quick fix for me but I am not sure everyone has the tools and skills to do it.

We love this bed
This is a great bed - very stylish and sturdy. We got it in a full size in white, and my 16 year old daughter loves it. The only issue we had is that when we were assembling, there was not a hole on one side of the headboard where there needed to be, but my husband easily drilled the hole & we completed assembly as planned.
