These might be fine for outdoor use where the flicker might be less of a problem, but I had bought these to use around the top of my room for when I wanted a soft warm light, like when winding down before bed. These lights have a flicker to them, though, that makes the quality of the light feel terrible to be in, not relaxing at all and kind of hurts my eyes or makes me feel like I'm going to get a headache if I am in it for long. Might not be an issue if they were used for outdoor decoration, but definitely an issue if you intend to use them as a light source, especially in the absence of other light sources, to illuminate a space you want to be in.
