Love these

We love these my only concern is loosing the tops - they are attached only by sticky tape right now, and I know that won't last. I can totally see us loosing some of the down the road.

Good idea, bad shape

These tools are a great idea. They can help a student visualize surface area and compare it to so that they can understand the difference between the two. However, I can only use a few of the shapes in the classroom because too many of them are shaped like a certain body part and whenever I take out the cylinder shape, the students cannot stop giggling. I think it would be much better if 1 circle was a the top and 1 at the bottom so that they could be used in classrooms full of hormonal, giggly, preteens.
