Honeywell 0.50 Gal. Ultrasonic Cool Mist Tabletop Humidifier

Second one I've purchased (baby tipped the first one and water went down in the fan and killed it. Lesson learned.) it works like an essential oil diffuser-- small vibrating plate causes "fog" which is blown by a fan out a chute at the top. Every surface can be cleaned; no hiding spots for mold, no nasty filter to replace. It does put out a lot of moisture so don't set it near or on anything that cannot get damp ( wood, leather, etc) in all, a fantastic little machine.

I've been sick for a few months from my allergies that developed into sinus infection, bronchitis and walking pneumonia as well as laryngitis. The first thing my doctor asked me is if I had a humidifier and I told her no. The doctor then told me that I needed to invest in one, so, I started searching. I wanted something that wasn't huge for my bedroom. I looked at a lot of different humidifiers online and I narrowed it down between this one and another brand. After reading the reviews for both humidifiers that I was looking at, I decided to go with this one and I am glad that I did. It is not that big like I wanted so it is perfect for my small bedroom. It is also very quiet which was important to me because I am a light sleeper. The only thing that I hear is when the water is filling into the reserve below the tank and its not very loud. I find that it is easy to clean. I have noticed a big difference when I sleep at night because I'm not up blowing my nose or clearing my throat every hour like it seemed I did before. I've also noticed that my nose doesn't get as dry or stuffed up and the static electricity isn't as bad as it was. I usually run it on low and if I fill up the tank it will last me for two to three nights, as I only run it when I sleep. I would definitely recommend this product and I am looking into buying the blue one. I own the red one if that matters :-) A smart buy
