Finally found a true Hayward seal gasket. Bought my weight in pool store generic seals they insist are OEM parts, but are not. This solved my leak, where the other non OEM parts did not. It is actually a bit larger than the other seals and seats properly to seal tightly. Im buying another, good price and IT WORKS. By the way, we have an older Hayward Northstar pump. It's still going, hard part is getting parts. Don't let the pool stores sell you a new pump.
