Some of the colors were too similar. A pastel orange instead of two green blues would have been nice. They take a bit longer to soften than other watercolor pencil brands I have used (Derwent, Arteza, General's). However, they do work great just as a color pencil for coloring. Overall, I think they are a good value and I like the unique pastel shades, which are rare in color pencils or watercolor. Finally, they come in a nice hinge lid tin and the pencil construction is lovely. They are numbered, but not named. They have guilt design and the ends are painted the color of the lead and it is a good representation of the actual lead color.
