I ended up purchasing this Draw-Tite hitch through Walmart because they had the best price at the time. While the price was great, the delivery was not. The hitch arrived wrapped in nothing but a thin blue plastic bag—no box, no padding, no protection at all. Given how heavy this hitch is, it's not surprising that it arrived with several dings and chipped paint. Thankfully, there was no structural damage. Returning something this large would have been a major hassle, but after some persistence with Walmart customer service, I was able to negotiate a reasonable credit, which helped offset the cosmetic issues. Now, setting aside the shipping problem, the product itself exceeded my expectations. This is a very well-built hitch with thick steel and solid construction—exactly what I expect from Draw-Tite. I purchased it to install on the back of my 2014 Keystone Raptor toy hauler 5th wheel, which already had factory-installed mounting plates under the rear frame. Because this hitch is adjustable side-to-side, I took a chance that it would line up reasonably well—and it did. To my surprise, the factory width of the hitch was nearly perfect out of the box. The hole-to-hole width measured right around 67 ¾ inches, which lined up extremely well with the factory mounting plates on my trailer. Only one hole per side lined up initially, but that was enough to loosely mount the hitch and hold it in position. From there, it was easy to use the hitch as a template to drill the remaining holes. I did have to slightly round out the holes in the factory mounting brackets to accommodate the included ½-inch bolts—only about an extra ⅛ inch—so that was quick and painless. Overall, the install was about as straightforward as you could hope for on a universal hitch. One thing to note: this hitch is very heavy. You'll either want a second person to help hold it in place while starting the bolts, or some kind of stand or jack to support one side during installation.
