Stunningly deep blue color

I love these glasses. I actually found a few in an antique store being advertised as vintage, but they looked far too new, so I did some digging that led me to these. I'm so glad I got them. I love the balance; they are not too heavy, but still won't easily tip when full. Unfortunately, one was cracked when they arrived, but I really did not need the full set - I was planning on giving some away anyway.

Pricey but so elegant

I have admired these goblets for years, ever since I saw them at a very nice restaurant where I was dining. The capacity is a generous 16 ounces, which I prefer for my drinking glasses, and the shape is lovely. It took me 20 years to persuade myself to purchase them, though. They're still just as lovely, but they're very expensive for Libbey glassware. They cost about 33% more than the clear version. I bought the clear version instead, eighteen years ago, and they're still going strong, but when I came across these on sale, I finally decided to get them. They are just as beautiful and elegant as I remember. They are a gorgeous, dense cobalt in color, and I see no unevenness or other imperfection, just like my clear goblet set from Libbey. They go great with my Asian blue and white dishware, and make every meal where I use them feel a bit more special. That's worth the price, I think.
