The logs were cracked and I was told that they would send a replacement. I asked if they could just replace the internal unit since I spent several hours putting the mantle together and didn't want to sirens the time to take it apart and put back together again. They said that they would get back to me after speaking with the company in a few days. It's been weeks with no contact. I contacted Walmart again and they said sorry, but it's too late to get a replacement!
