Chest seems sturdy and well put together. Assembly wasn't much and only took maybe 30 minutes. Other reviews of other chests stated they came damaged or missing parts, this one came clean and no damage and everything was there. I wish it was a smidge bigger, but I knew what the dimensions were when I bought it. Great chest for a simple residential house
