My 3 year old son loves it! Took my husband and dad about 8 hours total to put together. Definitely take your time and read the instructions carefully. Well built and will definitely hold up for years of wear. Only complaint is the steps are very narrow and the final step actually has a piece coming up to block the foot from going through which resulted in half my kiddos foot hanging off the back; so we actually got the same wood and doubled the step size and it looks great!

This is a really cute playhouse. My husband assembled it himself for our granddaughter who loves it. He did purchase plexiglass to cover the window areas of the little kitchen to keep out some rain so maybe, if I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to have small, double hung sliding windows as I know Amish built playhouses have them.
