Inconsistent connection

I bought two bulbs. Downloaded the Broadlink app, went through the steps to add one bulb and got it working. Great! Added the second bulb but it wouldn't connect so I tried the entire process over again and this time they both connected and were working for about 10 mins then when I went to turn off one of the lights it was showing as disconnected. Repeated everything several times and couldn't get both to work consistently. Reached out to their customer service/technical support and was given ridiculous steps to try to resolve the issue which included changing my Wi-Fi router settings. Meanwhile, I bought a different brand and have had no problems with the bulbs and have not had to make any changes to my Wi-Fi settings.
