Wall mounted for easy installation and featuring a top opening lid for convenience, our Monochromatic, Two Tone and Tri-Tone modern mailboxes come in two versions: our standard non-locking modern mailbox or locking modern mailbox for those looking for the perfect combination of design and security. If you are installing mailbox in area with direct contact to the elements we would recommend adding our rain guard feature (clear acrylicplate that is installed behind three front slots, blocking moisturefrom entering front of mailbox). Based on dimensions from modern wall mounted mailboxes from the 1950s and 1960s, our true-to-era aluminum mailboxes are 14.25" long x 6" high x 4" deep. There are two holes on back of mailbox (11.25" apart) that allow you to easily hang mailbox on screws that would be inserted into your home's exterior (extremely easy to install and we provide stainless steel screws and anchors). Modern Mailbox also offers a vertical wall mounted version for those searching for a larger, period correct contemporary mailbox.
