Might work for some
It didn't stick to any of my rugs with either sticking method. I haven't tried washing them to see if they would be reusable, but they collect a lot of dust, which probably prevents them from sticking correctly. They're made of good quality silicone and might work on rugs with fabric backings unlike mine which are rubber.
