Plow & Hearth Black Bear Footstool

I have admired and even lusted after this charming black bear footstool for at least 5 years. There are black bears aplenty in my neck of the woods in central Vermont, and we even have a "regular" whom we all respect and take action to prevent "his"? Predation on chicken coops and bird feeders. Just another local character. Down the road is a talented wood carver who renders not only bears but also moose and coyotes in lifelike poses. Can't afford the carver, and his product is not cuddly, but this footstool fills my need to have my own BBFF any time I need a smile and a reminder of just whose woods I am living in.
