3. The body of the kettle will be hot when water boils, pls only grab the handle to pour hot water.

4.If rust or mineral deposits are detected from hard water at the stainless steel bottom, boil water on medium heat for 15 min. with 1 oz. of lemon juice. Rinse and dry.

This is the sweetest little tea pot! It's modern in appearance, is made of plastic, and has a stainless steel liner on the bottom inside. Plug it in, put some water in it and flip the little switch. The hot water is BOILING within minutes and it stays hot when I go back for a second cup. This little baby works great. And it's cute and modern looking, so I'd happily put this on the table for company. I'm going to get one for my office--it's little enough, it really doesn't take up much space.
