Kichler Accessory 4 Speed Fan Slide Control

i wanted to like this controller, but the feel is cheap, and the slider is a bit clunky and rough. Moving between positions isn't smooth, and I think the slider could have been designed better. i also think that when moving the slider from the bottom to the top, the speed should increase incrementally. This controller is the opposite. The first position moving. up is the fastest? i also didn't notice much difference between the second and third positions. They're both medium speed. The lowest speed is ridiculously low and not worth using. I think I'll end up returning this switch and look for another.
