Our Product Care Plan provides more coverage than the manufacturer's warranty, such as failures due to:

  • Power surges
  • Defects in materials and workmanship
  • Mechanical or electrical failures, including those due to normal wear and tear
  • Internal heat, dust and humidity

This plan provides 3 years of coverage from the date of purchase.

    Transferable Coverage. If you sell your product or give it to someone as a gift, your Product Care Plan and all of its benefits are fully transferable to the new owner, so it maintains its value.

How the plan works:

Bought this protection through Wal-mart along with my new PC. I was sent an email to contact them to verify my protection. I called this service and spoke to a rep. She informed me they had not received any information regarding my protection. I had the print out of the email and the extra 90 dollar charge to my account for the protection. The rep seemed very put out by this problem and not friendly. I had to fax a copy of my paperwork to the company with attn to this rep. She said she would notify me as soon as she received the fax. Its been a month and i have not received any follow up emails or calls from the company. If I paid for this extra protection, why am I the one that has to do all the correspondence and leg work. ReallY? I have waited long enough for this company to get back with me and will have to initiate a follow up call. If its this much hassle just to verify protection, what is it going to be like when I actually have to use it? Pray for me....

I bought this care plan with a refurbished computer. Right out of the box I was getting "blue screen of death". I have opened 2 claims, sent the computer to them twice, and I am still having the issue. Every time it comes back I get a little paper that says "reloaded hard drive". If it didn't work the first time why do it again? The whole experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid extra money for nothing and now it is too late to return the computer I can't even use.

It's a bit silly to give a purchase rating of a computer service plan when I have only had the computer for one week. I haven't had to use it and I pray I will never have to use it. I bought it for an emergency situation...like accident insurance or life insurance. How can you rate something like that???

  • A. The purchase of the warranty should be on your receipt of which you should have a copy. Also you can search the site and copy or download the warranty info or should be able to pick up a copy from a local store.

  • A. You need to contact your store as quickly as possible. It should have been included on your sales slip when you received the computer. Also, check your spam filters to make sure the e-mail didn't get caught there. I received mine on time.

  • A. Hey Mike, Forward the order confirmation e-mail you received back to the walmart store you purchased it from and ask them to follow through. Service in this great country may have become hard to find, but it won't get better until we the consumer reqire it. Good luck,

  • A. call the number on warranty program sheet also have your receipt that has the info they need \ go to the store and they should help also go back to your computer and find the info they sent it should be with that if you do not have the info the store should help

  • A. Once you call in to have your repair 'authorized', they will either have you take it, ship it, or they will send out a service person to do it in your home. They apparently retain the option to choose how it happens. They are not at all clear on how that happens. I suspect you could call and have someone explain it to you. They do promise 3 day repair once it is received. I guess I'll find out if I ever have a problem.
