Get what you pay for.
The cost of the hydration back pack is very reasonable, $11.99, but the water from it tastes like plastic (even after rinsing with vinegar water) and there is no way to hook the end of the hose to keep it from dangling. Also, the mouth piece is a soft plastic and slit like the nipple of a baby bottle. It is difficult to drink from.
Another problem I have with using this pack is that the full bag is much heavier than I expected . (I have never tried carrying 2 liters of water on my back.) There is only one strap and the buckle is in an awkward position for a woman's chest (across the breast line). It does not feel very secure and I am trying to use it to work in a warehouse.
They allow returns, but do not pay for the shipping. It would cost $7.75 to send USPS. I would net only $4 dollars back. :-(

I needed to replace an old bladder more than needing the pouch but now I have a backup pouch too. My main two criteria for it are that it was cheap and it doesn't leak. This meets my needs for now.

Great item at a great price

Item as described. Had to test it, of course. Seems to be sturdy at the seams...no leakage from the bladder. Like that the cover has straps to put on like a backpack if needed. I ordered 4. One of the lids kept trying to cross-thread, but was able to finally get it closed without leaks.
