I had read what other people had to say about the curtains and that helped me to choose these curtains. The curtains where just what I was looking for. You never know what you will get when ordering on line so read the reviews. These curtains were not black out curtains I was not looking for that but they do cut down on the light alot. The curtains were well made and did not feel cheap to me. I washed and dried them and up they went and they look great. And just because these curtains worked for me they may not work for someone else thats what happens when ordering on line

If you're looking for blackout properties, you can sew one to the back of the other for almost complete darkness.
