works great for the price
So, we're using it as a place to keep the hand gun safe from the kids. It's heavy enough to feel secure. The fingerprint access is quick and easy and reliable. That's a feature I didn't see in any other safe until close to the $300 price point. It makes it almost like just another cabinet to use, but one we trust the kids can't access. But this is not a 'heavy duty' or imposing looking safe. It feels like 1/16 steel in the back and sides, 1/8 in the front. It could be bolted down, which I may do soon. If you built it into a cabinet or closet wall it would feel more secure. It is not fire or water proof, so keep that in mind if you want to put cash or jewelry in there. So if you want a decent level of security feeling, and the fingerprint access is of value to you (i would say it's a must if you plan daily access), then this a great deal for the price.

Serves the purpose that I needed it to at a fair price. Simple to use. Fingerprints weren't working the first time I tried, so I cleared it and it works fine now. Fairly lightweight but fits a lot. I'm very happy with it!

Good purchase
This would have been an excellent purchase but the instruction it came with are very vague. Should be able to secure it to my bed but not sure how. Came with security bolts but not how or where to mount them. Had to program the digit sensor several times, it can't read the entire finger with one try. Good thing it can remember several fingers, had to program mine four times so it would unlock the first attempt. Still haven't reprogrammed the combination, follow the vague instructions but nothing seems to work. With that said finger print reader work easily and quickly once programmed, not sure of the combination operation.
