Smart and elegant design
I'm happy with this product and would purchase again. If you are considering it, here are a few points to keep in mind: Pros: • elegant design that references mid-century-modern styling. • tones are understated and easily adaptable to a range of settings and color palettes. • if you're relatively handy, its very easy to assemble. From un-boxing to finish, it took me about an hour. Directions recommend two people, but I did it on my own. No tools needed. • Super solid and well engineered. With normal wear, I can't imagine any of the structural components ever failing. Cons: • As with so many sofas in this price range, this one is just not so soft (I guess soft, comfy cushions must require additional expenses on the structural end of things, so manufacturers, just "go hard"?) . That said, its angles are well thought-out and it feels ergonomically smart. It's great for a quick break or for a short social hang-out. But I'm not likely to use it for nestling in for the evening to watch a movie, read a book, etc. As you can see from my photo, I added a couple of bolster pillows and that has helped tremendously. • Fabric is nice, but probably not the world's most durable.
