In simplicity, I think this computer is Great. I love the way it looks and operates. The initial set up was so very easy, as I let Cortana, Microsoft's virtual assistant do almost all of the work as I answered a few questions. I love the brilliant colors and fantastic display, that enhances the whole experience. This laptop is super fast and LOADED with memory. The sound is great, the camera is spectacularly clear and precise and you can do a lot of things at one time without worrying about it slowing down to a drag. That being said, I wanted to give additional details and opinions; This is the perfect computer for classroom, both on sight or by Wi-Fi. It would be a great computer for a small business or for someone who has to work from home. It has a bezel shape design, looking sleek and stealthy, and it is light weight. It has about 9 hours of battery life and recharges from 0 to full charge in about 45 minutes. It produces distinct and really nice vibrant colors on the screen. The sound is perfectly crisp and comprehensible. It has 2 built in microphones and a camera. It supports a RJ-45 network jack, an HDMI port, USB Type-C port, 2 USB ports and a memory card reader. It is impressively powerful and processes several things at once, without bogging down and slowing up. I opened several apps after I had it set up, to see what the possibilities for multitasking were. I ran a lot of software that demands a lot of resources and the computer kept up with everything I was doing, all at once. It comes with all of the features that windows 10 home edition comes with. It does not come with Microsoft office, So MS Word isn't resident on the computer, however it does have a trial version, with options to buy. It supports other document writing software such as Open Office as well. There are so many apps available and they are downloadable from Microsoft, and many apps are free. It includes HP Support assistant, which is Hewlett-Packard's onboard tool that optimizes the computer's performance and resolves problems using diagnostic tools and utilities. The HP support Assistant provides an access point for software updates, product information, online classes, and provides HP contact information. This Laptop has a very unique ability to store and access information, faster than I have ever experienced. It comes with Two types of drives. A hard disk drive and a solid state drive. Data Storage comes in Two types of technology. The Hard disk drive, which is the traditional way computers store and access data, And the Solid State Drive, which was widely introduced in the last decade. The HD, or Hard Drive, allows for a lot of storage space for files, such as documents, pictures and music. SSD uses flash memory to access to store and access data. As a result, you are able to access your files, almost instantly. This results in faster boot time, quitter operation and system cooling. It comes with 1 tb of Hard Disk memory available. Just for a reference of how much space that is: 1 TB gives you the option of storing roughly: 250,000 photos taken with a 12MP camera; 250 movies or 500 hours of HD video; or. 6.5 million document pages, commonly stored as Office files, PDFs, and presentations. That is A MASSIVE AMOUNT of memory, an that's with the hard disk drive alone. In addition to that, the Solid State Drive allows for an additional 128 gb. to facilitate the operating system. with both an SSD drive for the operating system and a traditional hard drive you get the benefits of both worlds
