I just bought this skillet.I wanted something cheap and functional because I spent more money on the last skillets I had, and within three months they are junk. So why spend extra money, just get the cheap ones use them until they are bo goid. longevity? I would not know. I have had it about a week. I made fried chicken in it worked petfectly. no sticking, chicken cooked nicely. immediate use a five star. Long term use, I cannot grade because I have not had it that long.

Excellent, value priced skillet

I bought this skilled because the coating on my other one wore out. When it says "heavy weight" they are not kidding. It weighs about twice what a regular one does. But this is good as it doesn't shift on the burner when cooking - a problem with previous skillets. The only thing I do not like about it is the placement of the rivets connecting the handle. Small issue. Kudos to Walmart for not putting the upc sticker on the bottom in favor of putting it on the cardboard sleeve.

Absolutely delighted when I received this skillet. It is an excellent bargain. By all means, never cook on more than medium heat and use non-metal utensils to protect coating.. I like it so much, I bought one for my daughter. Buy it! You will not be disappointed.
