Really nice for the money.

When taking the pieces out of the box my initial reaction was this is a cheap Piece of crap and assembly is going to be a nightmare. The pieces ar very light and flimsy. Everything went together well you just need to complete each step before moving on to the next one. Please don't figure “I got this and jump ahead! Pro tip- don't tighten everything as you go! Make it finger tight and then tighten when it is fully assembled to allow for adjustments. You do not need to get your torque wrench out either! Ater final assembly, and putting the mattress on my opinion changed. This bed is solid, squeak free and beautiful! The fabric is really nice and overall just an engineering marvel. I bought a similar bed from Zinus a while back. This is really the same design. The big difference is the Zinus had the brackets pre attached and all the bolts already put in so all you did was tighten them. The actual wooden pieces on the Zinus seemed to be more substantial but it did not look any better. Bottom line- I gave it 5 stars because it deserves 5 stars. It's inexpensive and looks great. Probably would not withstand kids climbing on the side rails and jumping on the mattress. But that's a parenting issue not a furniture issue. IMHO I would spend a few bucks more for the Zinus but I would not discourage anyone from buying this because it's well worth the money. Took two of us about 30 min to assemble.
