The picture showed a much thicker, sturdier made ring. It also showed a thicker/fuller Amber topaz gemstone. While the gemstone is beautiful, it's not very thick. The picture showed thicker and sturdier silver that the ring would be made from. It is not thick. I chose this ring based on the photos which showed higher quality. When the ring finally arrived, I was disappointed. As the ring did not cost a fortune and Amber, the one with beautiful imperfections, is precious regardless, i decided to just keep it. But, if you want something that DOES look like the quality advertised in the picture, I recommend going in person to actually see what you're buying. If you don't mind your ring or gift NOT being what you expected, then buy from this seller. if you want it to be what you expect, buy in person elsewhere. i feel bad giving this review, i do, but it was to be special and wasn't what I thought i was getting. The ring is thin and light, doesn't look close enough to the pictures. I cannot recommend in good faith. I don't know why it says gift for wife when that's a lie. It was to be a gift for my best friend of 40 years. i had her an almost complete set of white gold and Amber topaz jewelry, but the store I bought them from discontinued the set before I could get the ring. I took pictures because I wanted to show what was advertised and what you actually get look different. The metal (silver), is thinner, not circular, connected in an off-way on one side. The actual gemstone is thinner as well. Takeaway: if you like different than the picture and being surprised by what you get, this is for you. If you want what the picture promises, this is NOT for you.
