Almay Ultra Hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, 25 Wipes

I'm always looking for a facial cleansing wipe that not only works well but is budget friendly. The Almay Makeup Remover Ultra Hydrating Towelettes are both! This product comes in a thick and nicely made resealable package. All you need to do is pull up the tab on the front and take out wipes as you need them. Pressing the tab back down reseals the package and prevents the towelettes from drying out. The design on the resealable flap seems nicer than some other brands as it stays completely down even after multiple uses. I like this design because it means that since I'll be opening it twenty-five times, it'll completely seal twenty-five times. This is important because you don't want to end up with dried out wipes. The foil packaging also seems like it is a little stiffer than some other brands. This means the edges of the opening stay flat - therefore the seal will be flat. All very nicely done. Other than packaging, after several days of trying this product out I can honestly say that I love it. The towelettes themselves seem quite smooth but in fact have a fine texture to them that gives a slightly exfoliating effect. They remove every trace of makeup and yes - they even remove waterproof mascara as advertised. It does require a little extra wiping to get it all off, but it works. They leave your face incredibly clean and not dry feeling. There is no residue whatsoever and you don't need to wash your face after. Just wipe and let your face dry. It doesn't affect the application of makeup directly after either. There is really no real scent to the wipes. I can smell a scent but it's so incredibly subtle that I couldn't say what it resembles. I guess the closest thing I could compare it to is scent-free lotion or similar. Overall I would highly recommend these wipes. They do exactly what they should and make your skin feel great.

In review of the Almay makeup removing towelettes they are a soft disposable cloth that removes makeup. I particularly use to remove my eye makeup. This moist towelette does remove makeup very well, but particularly does remove hard eye make up well. It does not appear to be overly saturated with product but enough to do the job. I would say if you are a heavy makeup user than two might be required. It does have a slight smell I assume from the “rice milk” that is in them. It does not smell perfumy, more like the milk I would say. I think that is the only unusual part to this product. It is not overpowering but I could have done without it.
