Excellent Torchiere So Far

This is a good torchiere so far. The design is quite a bit more spare than the old fluorescent torchiere that it replaced. It's bright and easy to adjust. The base is heavy and will keep the lamp upright if nudged accidentally. The height is excellent - tall enough that you don't see directly into the light. It was easy to assemble, though it would help to have two people since it gets a bit unwieldy in the final steps. The on/off knob could be a bit bigger for optimal comfort, but it works fine.

I like Hector

I was wary of buying a torchiere without actually seeing it first, but very happy with the product. The base is heavy, so it's very stable. The three separate rods threaded perfectly, so it doesn't look crooked. And the dimmer switch is in a convenient spot. It's not as flashy as the 10 year old Spanish halogen lamp it replaced, but the light quality is excellent and it's a very good value. I also like the way the entire top part angles, so you can really customize what part of the space you want illuminated.

Excellent quality & functionality with a stunning design. Easy to assemble & affordable too!

What a great lamp! Unique in nature & just what I needed illuminate my wall clock plus lighting up that side of the room without glare in the TV. The design is so chic & fits with my decor perfectly.
