Very nice toaster. Just learned, have to be careful when I toast a bagel - the bagel setting has to be lower (like on 2), otherwise, it will burn. Actually, for sliced bread, I put it on 3. Guess I was use to my old toaster, which needed a much higher setting. Also, it toasts the bread so much faster than my old toaster. So far, I really like this new toaster.

Operates and Looks Great

I had an Oster toaster that I bought at a Walmart in Maryland, it started becoming a little finicky after being used daily for 6 years so I decided to get another one. Neither Walmart store that I went to down here in Pensacola had the Oster so I bought a top of the line Black and Decker. I took the B&D out of the box at home and it was so far outclassed by the Oster that I put it right back in the box and got on the computer to order an Oster. Walmart gave me no problem in returning the unused B&D. The Oster is a class act.

I don't like things on my counter but this toaster is very nice looking. The controls work well and the browning is consistent for both toast and bagels, and the frozen feature works well when taking something right out of the freezer. It's easy to get small bagels out by using the lever so that you don't burn your fingers trying to get them out, and you can cancel the toasting by pressing the cancel button and the item pops right up. Great price. Very happy with this toaster and would highly recommend it.
