This thing slings a regular baseball, as accurately and consistent as you could ask for at this price range. We tried the kind that have the wheel that spins and ejects but the one we tried and many more like that only want you to use the rubber balls which sucks. I set up a pallet as a backstop and it was a little weathered but it still literally threw the ball straight through it and just basically tore it apart after a few pitches, honestly this thing is pretty impressive!
