I wanted to love this bed, as it looked so good in my kitchen, matched the color scheme perfectly. Unfortunately we had 2 major issues with it, both related to the material/make of the insert pillow. First weird thing was that the insert sweats after my dog sleeps on it. Found it completely wet. The second part, and most concerning, was that, after I found it wet, I put it in the wash and the. The drier. It literally melted in the drier. The pillow cover is some thin plasticy material, and it literally decomposed, leaving way for the insert to come out. The black plasticy insert was melted and stuck to the inside of my drier, and it smelled burnt. A real fire concern.
