The best bike in history
I have a 3 year old Mongoose Trailblazer with over 540 miles (according to dashboard 150) and I have had a lot of trouble free ride out of it. I have rode through sludgy mud, hit the biggest holes, and even have actively shifted a lot. In 540 miles of ownership the only three problems I have had with it is the tire plus tube blew (which is not the actual bike itself) changed back brake pads twice, and changed the rear strut tower once. If I had the option before I bought this bike with my old Roadmaster Granite Peak, I would have returned it in favor of this bike. It rides smooth, and shifts awesomely. Never had to do anything with the front brakes, or front struts. It is a reliable bike and still with the rough and tumble life it has had it still rides, and shifts smooth to this day.

Dangerous Quality Issues
Disclaimer: Bike was pre-asembled when purchased. The bike has bad quality issues, handlebars have rotational snap points, but none of them are straight. The handlebars also loosen after only 5 - 15 miles. Lastly, the front discs will sometimes stick on during hard braking.

Great mountain bike!

My son, who is about to be 12 years old, received this bike for his birthday from his grandparents a few days ago. We just went biking on a 7.2 mile moderate level mountain biking trail today and he loved its performance the entire way. Lots of jumps, hills, roots, rocks and muddy puddles to navigate the entire way and it worked beautifully!!
