1/4 cup of kernels to get real good popcorn

I don't have to shake pot, just turn gear driven handle to stir kernels inside pot. the bottom is thick clad and I got almost all corn popped without burning. I will add salt to the next batch while popping to see if I can get that flavor while it pops. This is the SS popper and it worked great the times I used it on my gas stove

Performs well! The price was outstanding and it really does make theater level popcorn (with the appropriate oil and Flavorcol). I appreciate the metal gears (as opposed to the nylon) and it cleans easily (just wipe with a paper towel). If you enjoy theater-like popcorn, I suggest you give it a try. It's easy to use, the lid fits well, and the construction is sturdy.
