Bought this for a 55 gallon tank. The old one just didn't seem to be working; I would have to place an electric room heater near the outside of the tank just to keep the tank around 74 degrees. I installed the Tawatiler heater about a week ago, and it brought the tank up to the desired 78 within minutes. I also love the fact that it shows me the set temp as well as the temperature of the water. I've been monitoring the temp with an additional thermometer and it is accurate.
