DAMAGE: We read a lot of reviews that said the bed arrived broken. Ours was not damaged, and there was lots of information for how to get a replacement if it broke, so I would not worry about that if that's bothering you. GREAT QUALITY: We've bought plenty of cheaper kids beds before. Usually they last a few years, but if you move them at all, they break. It's clear that won't be the case with this bed. It's real wood, not particle board. The drawers underneath have really nice wheels, and it slides easily on our carpet. The 5yo we bought it for has no trouble opening and closing it. EASY ASSEMBLY: Again, we've bought lots of cheaper beds before. They're 100% user assembly and can take an hour or more to put together. This bed was almost effortless. 4 screws for the bed frame, 4 screws per drawer. It's a pretty easy one person job. About the only critique I have is the packaging. It comes in four boxes, and there is just so much waste. But apart from that, we'd strongly recommend to anyone.
