This is a really beautiful and well-made bamboo rug. The color is natural. The slats are somewhat smaller than the photo that was shown when I purchased the rug (a little less than one inch in width).

I ALSO PURCHASED THIS SAME BAMBOO RUG IN THE 4X6 . IT LOOKS GREAT..WE DONT WEAR SHOES IN OUR HOUSE AND HAVE HARD WOOD FLOORS. SO THIS COMES IN HANDY IN FRONT OF MY SHOE BENCH. IT IS ALSO A GREAT ACCENT.

Much nicer than the stuff I've seen at World Market and Target. It has a breathable, non-slip rug pad attached to the back so I didn't need to buy one separately. Great look!
