Shoes for Crews Heather II, Women's Nano Composite Toe (NCT) Work Shoes, Slip Resistant, Water Resistant, Black, Size 8.5

I fell in love with these shoes when I first got them. They were relatively comfortable (I am very fussy about footwear....I often try on every style in a store and walk out without a pair...). That being said, they do not have arch support, but the description says you can remove the insert and replace with an insert of your choice. The toe did show early wear, but I have had mine for 3 years. I am looking to replace them now because the soles are starting to separate from the shoes. I work on heavy equipment, tractors, around horses, bale hay in them, etc. They have been serviceable shoes. No- they do not get a 5 star for comfort. But the toe tops are all worn and cut from the things they protected my feet from. My biggest complaint is that things get into the shoe- I frequently have to take them off and dump out sawdust, hay, dirt. There is nothing connecting the sides of the tongue to prevent stuff from going into the shoe around it.
