Received the next day after the rest of my order though that may be the delivery companies fault. Pointy end goes down. Have fun getting it in the dust cover bellow. The bellow does not flare out at the bottom like the OEM. The flared out part on the OEM part forms a gasket that would sit between the spring and the strut plate to prevent metal on metal. Hind sight, I should have cut that part out of the OEM bellow.

Fit the front, but did not fit the rear.

I replaced all four corners on my 2005 subaru legacy and these boots for the front just fine, but did not fit the rear at all. Luckily the stock boots were in good shape so we just reused them. I thought it was weird that the site gave me the same part number for both front and rear, but I figured they would know. They were only like $12, so not worth the hassle to return.

This bellow seems to be much less durable than the original. Of note, the bump stops install at the top of this assembly, not the bottom like OEM. Will perform the same function, but be aware of the difference.
