Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this dish. I've never had a cast iron pan other than the 75 year old one that my husband's grandmother gave us and it was quite heavy and rusty, so I never used it. I trust the KitchenAid brand and have no qualms about using this roasting pan. It did not disappoint!

Another great Kitchenaid product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cast iron roasting pan isn't bulky and the perfect size for our family of three. Seasoning is not required and it is ready to use right out of the box. This is my first cast iron pan and I was surprised by how heavy it is! Not only is it pretty heavy, it is also very sturdy and durable, with a lip beneath the handles to assure you have a good grip when wearing kitchen gloves to handle the hot pan. It takes a while to heat up, but once it is heated up, it cooks the food evenly, and retains the heat. Meatballs, the first dish I've cooked in the cast iron pan, came out juicy on the inside with a nice sear on the outside. The cheese on top was melted to perfection and the dish stayed sizzling hot for quite some time after being taken out of the oven. Since the pan is one solid piece, without any ridges, is very easy to clean. I usually prefer plain looking cookware and was worried about the blue color on the outside, but the color is gorgeous and timeless.

Kitchen-Aid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the kitchen-aid cast iron roasting pan about a month ago and I absolutely love it. The food cooks evenly, I haven't had anything stick to it, and I like that you can also use it in the oven.
