This is a throwback product that works wonders. It actually boosts the brightness of clothing without bleach, and it works very well cleaning the bathtub and tiles and kitchen sink. It has no odor, and everyone should know about it. Safe and effective.

Product good. Condition not good
When I opened the boxes there was a lot large lumps in the powder. I have to break them up before I add it to the washer. I’ve never had this before and I’ve used this product for some time. It seems as if it got damp somewhere along the line.

Borax Believer!

This detergent booster has been around for so long that I had forgotten about it. I bought this again recently and will be using it regularly from now on. It smells great and takes only 1/4-1/2 cup(depending on the soil) added to my regular detergent to remove stubborn stains and makes my laundry smell so fresh. So far, I have not used it on anything but laundry but I understand it has multiple uses.

Greatest cleaning product ever

We use this in our laundry and cleaning everyday, helps to use less detergent but with better results! It’s the perfect scouting cleaner for your tubs and sinks, less harsh than barkeepers friend on your hands especially with all the extra hand washing!

Face it.....just get some

This product has been around for years and years and years. You probably just never knew about it. I put about a 1/4 cup per load. Detergent? I use only a third of what I used before. Wonderful stuff. Do it. Get some.

1. Yes, and here is my recipe: Three bars Fels Naptha soap, grated One box 20 Mule Team Borax One box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 1/2 4 lb box of Arm & Hammer baking soda Mix together and use 1-2 tablespoons per load. I normally use just one. And I use my food processor to grate the soap. If you add a little of either of the dry ingredients to the food processor when you grate, it helps to grate it finer and keeps it from sticking to the blades. This recipe makes 22 cups, which is 352 tablespoons. 1 Tbsp per load = 352 loads for around $12.00

2. I wouldn't use Borax on your skin, it has irritants. In fact it warns on the box about getting it on your skin, eyes or breathing it. It's recommended for laundry or general cleaning, mixing with washing soda or Oxi Clean works great in warm/hot water.

3. Mix Borax with soda ash(Arm & Hammer Washing Soda), borax softens the water and the soda ash loosens the dirt. Together they make a great detergent, it's what my grandmothers used.

4. I use Borax to make my own DIYS liquid and dry laundry soap. I mix it with Zote soap, Arm and Hammer washing soda and Oxy clean; all I buy in Walmart. I have hard water and have noticed a great improvement in my laundry.I make up extra batches for my kids and I also use it on baby clothes. I personally like the dry DIYS laundry soap. Check out You Tube for DIYS laundry soap.

1. My son has been wetting the bed almost nightly. It has a terrible odor and nothing worked until I tried the OxyClean Odor Blaster powder. OMG it takes it out completely! I have tried EVERYTHING, Vinegar, baking soda, regular OxyClean, and even OdoBan-works but has a nasty STRONG smell which causes my son to itch and weeze.

2. Been using 20 Mile Team Borax for forty years in my laundry to remove odors that those flowery detergents are useless for. Another great product is Arm

3. I use this product all the time. I have had no odor problems that this hasn't solved.

4. It may help. I recommend Odo Ban. I use it instead of Downy in the rinse water.

1. We have used Borax for this exact purpose, (among countless other uses), and found it VERY EFFECTIVE. We covered our wall-to-wall carpet with 7 boxes, left it overnight and *vacuumed it all up the next day. It basically suffocates the fleas. Given the fact that 7 boxes costs less than $30.00, it's a far cry from having the carpet professionally cleaned - which in our experience, had proven to be costly AND unsuccessful. (*We actually recycled the vacuumed-up Borax by sieving it and used it for whatever other outdoor uses we may need it. Waste not, want not!) =)

2. Hopefully they will not remove this link. But here is a great article on natural flea control and talks about using it on carpets. http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/non-toxic-flea-and-tick-control/

3. Borax is generally great for bugs; something about the crystal structure punctures the exoskeletons of many bugs and results in their deaths. I rent a house and there is a horrible ant colony outside where there was once a water leak; I use this (in addition to commercial pesticides) to get rid of them and keep them away.

4. It works very well. Sprinkle it on the carpet and scrub it in with a dry bristle broom. Do this to all floors with carpet, because fleas will get every where. To check on fleas place a white towel on the floor. They are so small you can`t detect them unless you have a white background. Good luck.
