If you're looking for inexpensive batch of readers to have enough to put everywhere, I would highly recommend these. I've worn glasses since I was ten and recently had cataract surgery, so needed readers. The metal frames are quite strong, the nose pads are very soft and keep the glasses from resting on the bridge of your nose, the lens appear to be good quality, and the prescription appears to be accurate to the description. The metal frames have some degree of flex, so you can adjust the fit. I was extremely nearsighted before the surgery, so was uncomfortable reading where most people are comfortable, because of this I already had 3.25's and these, at 4.00's are definitely stronger, so I believe the prescription is as advertised. The lenses will not pop out (I tried very hard, as I had one eye corrected for distance and one for reading, and I was going to see if I could switch the one lens to a weaker prescription). There isn't a screw at the edge of the lenses, only at the hinges, which is why you can't remove the lenses, and they are in the frames very firmly, which I sure most people would be very happy. Because of the metal frames, these also don't really look like readers, and I personally feel they are quite a bit more attractive than most readers.
