Fast n lite, will buy again for family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is everything I wanted from a laptop, great battery life, ample power when needed. I have not yet played any games or rendering pics with it yet, but from my normal day to day use, it's super fast. I avg about 11-14hrs from a full charge. The keys are perfect, not too much travel and yet positive confirmation that I know I've hit it. Finger print reader works nicely. Sleep works well, I never have to shutdown, just close lid. One issue, I've seen a msg on bios indicating the fan is not working but went away after reboot. I would prefer 3:2, 16:10 is still better than 16:9.

Yes, the M1 is nice, fast, and efficient, but it doesn't mean anything if you can't software that you need. After 12 years with the Mac, I've switched back to the Thinkpad. I'm really impressed with the x13 gen 2 AMD. It's quite, doesn't get hot and handles everything I throw at it. I'm a very satisfied user, glade I made the switch. BTW, windows management of windows is much better than Mac, not sure why everyone thinks Mac is easy to use. Windows is great right out the box.

I can get a lot of work done in libraries/cafes once you adjust to the difference between your home setup and this, it's a perfect way to do work remotely or on the go!
