The charger states car charger and has that adapter-but the chatger itself has a type-c charging port which actually allows you to connect other chargers to it, not soley car chargers. i really like the fact it has the actual type-c charging port because it's so beneficial for charging anywhere! The clamp detaches from it for convenience and also clips to other things very easily other than car vents. I'm more pleased with it than i anticipated.
