This U.S. Mint Presidential Silver medal contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver and is part of a new collection of Silver Medals commemorating various Presidents of The United States of America.

Following the popular 2016 and 2017 Silver Liberty medals, The U.S. Mint continues their medals program with these Presidential Silver Medals. Each medal is struck on a .999 fine Silver planchet generally used for Silver American Eagles.

Medallion Highlights:
- Medal contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver.
- Comes encapsulated in a U.S. Mint box along with a certificate of authenticity.
- Obverse: Features a left-facing profile of Thomas Jefferson. Surrounding text states "Thomas Jefferson President of the U.S.A.".
- Reverse: Across the top are featured a peace pipe and tomahawk crossing each other. "Peace and Friendship" are the theme as a pair of hands shake in the center, the left hand being of a Continental Army delegate and the right being a Native American.
- Rim: Smooth edges, rather than reeded.
