Get ready to cook for the whole family with this cast iron Dutch oven featuring a convenient, silver wire handle and an 8-quart capacity. Use this pre-seasoned cast iron pot to simmer, bake, roast, and cook favorite meals on the stove, in the oven, or even over a campfire. Use the lid as a griddle to fry or scramble eggs effortlessly, or use the pot to cook soup, casseroles, meat, and much more! Due to its cast iron material, this large Dutch oven cooks food by dispersing heat evenly. Heat from cooking is retained in the thermal sides of the pot to keep meals warm and ready to eat. Cooking your food in a cast iron skillet can increase iron content in your diet. To clean the Dutch oven, use warm water and course salt to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap to clean the cast iron surface to keep the pre-seasoned finish in tact.- HOLDS UP TO 8 QUARTS: This cast iron Dutch oven measures 12.25" outer top diameter (11.75” inner top diameter) x 10.25” outer bottom diameter (10” inner bottom diameter) x 5.25” outer H without handle (5” inner H). The lid measures 12.25” diameter x 1.25” H without the handle (2” H with the handle) and has a 1" lip on the handle side. This Dutch oven weighs 17 lbs. It can hold up to 8 quarts and can be used over the campfire or on a stovetop.
