Smells great even after a day of welding
This deodorant is my husband's absolute favorite! It's the only one he used for years. The scent is amazing. As a welder he needs a deodorant that protects and lasts against the high temperatures of summer and playing with fire. This scent is hard to find recently but we buy extra any time we see it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid user of the Phoenix brand line, until I received a free sample of the AXE ESSENCE ANTIPERSPIRANT. Upon receiving it, I stored it up until I was finished with my current deodorant. Well, it was time to use the ESSENCE and I was not disappointed. It went on, smelled, worked, no chalkiness, no odor, and lasts quite a while, because it was 'GREAT.'

It WAS great
I've used this scent for years and always loved it until the recent change. Since it was changed to 48 hour protection, the scent is no longer the same. I asked several people to smell the old one and then smell the new one with the same result... The new one isn't good. The ingredients are slightly different and I'm disappointed. I have been unable to find the 24 hour one. Why do companies do this? Just keep stuff the same.
