I was replacing an old, bottom-mount trash/recycle can slide out system that failed due to wear and water damage. I have framed cabinets but the face frame does not extend into this particular cabinet, so I ordered this frameless model. Make sure you have furring strips or some other kind of thin wood to add as a spacer on each side of the drawer slides. I have a 17" wide cabinet, so I bought a 2' x 2' scrap piece of 1/4" thick plywood, and cut my own furring strips. Perfect fit as the slides are 16.5" wide (16.5 + .25 + .25 = perfect fit). Make sure everything is lined up and level, and the install will go smoothly. Sturdy and well made finished product.
